Introduction

Reiman Wins First Conference Title Since 1976, Fifth Overall!!

Senior Cole Reiman concluded a strong senior season by winning the Midwest Collegiate Conference title and helping the Statesmen golf team to a fourth-place finish at the league championships.

During the fall, the Statesmen continued its rise up the ladder by placing sixth out of 13 teams at the NAIA Region VII Championships, the highest finish since 2003.  Reiman led the team with a seventh-place finish, just three strokes out of being named to the all-region tournament team.

Several key members of the 2007-2008 squad return to bolster next year's team as Penn seeks its first-ever national tournament appearance.

Penn also had success during the 2007 spring season as Nathan Fisher became the program's first all-conference player since 1995, finishing fifth at the MCC Championships.

Penn competes at both the varsity and junior varsity levels.  The varsity will play in 7-8 tournaments during the fall, while the junior varsity will get considerable competition as well with 4-5 meets.

Penn also plays 4-5 tournaments in the spring and will also go on a trip to a sunny southern locale in March.
