Introduction

The Penn women's basketball team began to move back up the Midwest Collegiate Conference ladder during the 2007-2008 campaign, finishing 15-16 overall and 6-10 in the league.

The Lady Statesmen were led in scoring and rebounding by freshman Christa Subbert with an average of 13.3 points and 7.6 rebounds.

Penn loses just one senior to graduation and expects to be at the top of the MCC mountain next year.
